Ardmore Literacy Leadership

About Us

Our History
Nonprofit professionals working in areas of literacy founded Ardmore Literacy Leadership in 2014 to help local literacy programs better serve the residents of Southern Oklahoma. With a mission to grow literacy and education throughout Southern Oklahoma, Ardmore Literacy Leadership provides support for leadership development and literacy programs along with collaborative projects with community partners.

Our Mission
To grow literacy and education throughout Southern Oklahoma.

Our Vision
Ardmore Literacy Leadership strives to meet the literacy needs of Southern Oklahomans through a variety and multitude of services. Each group provides a unique characteristic to this partnership. The partners of A.L.L. work together to provide technology skills, GED classes and family preparedness, improve reading and math skills, promote social justice, prevent homelessness and improve self-sufficiency, and to invest in the future of our community by mentoring a child and expanding literacy skills of those in need. We support local groups and help them meet the growing literacy needs of the community.

Our Funding
As a nonprofit organization, the work and services of Ardmore Literacy Leadership are made possible through donations and grants. A.L.L. applauds the work of Dollar General Literacy Foundation, who has generously supported literacy services in Ardmore through the Expanding Access project. Dollar General Literacy Foundation has been a supporter of literacy initiatives since 1993. A.L.L. was made possible by Dollar General Literacy Foundation (through grants from Proliteracy) Accuracy?.
